Hello and welcome to this new Football Blog – aptly titled JustAnotherFootballBlog (I thought it was a good name anyway).

If you were expecting an extraordinary first blog post then I’m afraid you may be severely disappointed. I’m just here to point you in the direction of a page on the site called “Why is this here?”. As you may come to expect from the name of the page, this explains in some small details why I’ve decided to create this website (or blog). And, because we’ve only just met, I thought it would be best if you got to know me a little better before we embark upon our blogging journey together (too much?).

Anyway, that’s about it for now. I’ll be back with my first (proper) blog post in due course – much to the annoyance of my Twitter followers who will be bombarded with shameless plugs on their timeline. So for that, I apologise in advance.
